Jesus Christ superstar Letter

Dear Parent/Carer,

As part of our new Religious Studies Curriculum I am pleased to announce that there is an exciting opportunity for all year groups to visit The Birmingham Hippodrome to watch the performance of Jesus Christ SuperStar.

The trip will take place on 25th April 2024  We will be leaving school at 5:45pm sharp, so your child should arrive back at school for 5:15pm. We aim to return for 10:45pm, so that students will be able to make their normal way home/will require picking up.

I have included a list of the items that students will need to bring with them.

  • School uniform with a warm coat
  • Drinks to stay hydrated throughout the evening
  • Appropriate snacks to eat during the performance
  • Money, if they wish to purchase anything at the theatre
  • Any medication your child requires, please be aware if your child does not bring the medication identified we may be unable to take them.

The cost to students is £35 which covers travelling by coach and entrance to the performance.  Payment can be paid via cash.  There are a limited number of places available and they will be offered on a first come first serve basis. I have attached a Medical and Dietary consent form that will need to be completed in full and returned to the Finance Office along with full payment no later than 19th March 2024.

Students are reminded that their behaviour prior to the visit must be exemplary in order to attend. We reserve the right to remove a student up to and including the day of the visit if their behaviour poses a cause for concern.
