Parents’ Evenings

Parents’ evenings are vital because they strengthen the partnership between home and school, allowing parents and teachers to discuss a child’s academic progress, behaviour and development. This collaboration helps identify a child’s strengths and weaknesses, plan how to support them, and build a shared understanding of how to improve their education and achievement.

Throughout the academic year, a Parents’ Evening has been planned for each year group. The dates for these events can be found below:

Key Stage 3 and 4*

Year 7: Tuesday 6^th July 2027

Year 8: Tuesday 15^th March 2027

Year 9: Tuesday 9^th February 2027 (options process for their transition to Year 10 to be launched)

Year 10: Tuesday 18^th May 2027

Year 11: Tuesday 8th December 2026

*All of the above will run from 3.45pm – 6.15pm. There is no appointment system, parents are simply encouraged to attend the academy and make their way between their child’s class teachers in an order that suits them

Sixth Form

Tuesday 20^th January 2026 from 3.45-5.45pm

Student Reports

Student reports are issued twice during the academic year and are informed by assessments your child will take. There are two assessment windows for each year group during the year. One will take place just before the planned parents’ evening and that is when you will receive one of your child’s reports. The other report will be issued shortly after their other assessment window. The assessment window dates can be found below:

Tuesday 26th January 2027 from 3.45-5.45pm

Year 7: Mid-January – End January 2027 / Mid-June to End June 2027

Year 8: Late January – Early February 2027 / Mid- June – Early July 2027

Year 9: Early January – End January 2027 / End June – End of Year 2027

Year 10: Mid – Late April 2027

Year 11: Early November 2026 / Mid-February 2027

Year 12: Late November 2026 / Mid-June 2027

Year 13: Mid-November 2026 / Early February 2027
